37 years of face to face teaching experience at elementary and Secondary schools. Research experience since 2009. Have been teaching basic computer skills to disadvantaged adults to empower them and develop employability skills. Interested in exploring e-Tutoring and teaching online. While still finding time to do educational research and publication. Have 18 years experience in teaching learners who struggle to read and have difficulties with English Language acquisition. Aufait with computer- based reading programmes and traditional Phonics- based reading programmes. Is able to conduct standardised reading and admission screens. Can provide personalised reading & language Intervention programmes. Familiar with gaming Theory and the use of Minecraft in teaching 21 st Century skills.

Passionate about supporting struggling readers and writers to become independent. I also assess Grade 0 learners to determine school readiness (N$450, inclusive of a written report) and offer emergent literacy support for Grade 0 learners. Is your child (Gr 0-12) struggling to read? I can support your child to become a confident and independent reader. I design and implement a personalised and computer-integrated programme to consolidate and strengthen all areas of literacy, starting with a age appropriate diagnostic assessment and then following a blended learning methodology. Two 30-minute sessions per week are recommended, at N$ 200.00 per session. A once-off registration fee to cover administration costs is charged at N$200.00 Focusing on: 1. Memory for Sequences 2.
